Cenotaph at Newton is a rare vintage lithographic print after the visionary architectural drawing by Étienne-Louis Boullée (1784) — one of the most iconic images of French Revolutionary architecture.

Conceived as a tribute to Isaac Newton, Boullée's design was breathtaking in its ambition: a colossal sphere surrounded by cypress trees, never built yet never forgotten. By day, sunlight would flood the interior; by night, an artificial starry sky would illuminate it from within — creating an almost mystical atmosphere that blurred the boundary between architecture and the cosmos. The sphere itself was a symbol of both the infinity of the universe and the boundless genius of Newton.

That this monument existed only on paper makes it no less powerful — and this rare print brings Boullée's impossible dream into your space.
