An original vintage exhibition poster from the landmark Monet in the ’90s: The Series Paintings show at the Art Institute of Chicago (May 19 – August 12, 1990). The poster features Monet’s celebrated Poplars (Spring), from his Poplars series painted along the Epte River in 1891 — tall, slender trees with warm orange trunks rising against a luminous violet sky, their reflections shimmering in the still water below. A quintessential example of Monet’s serial method, capturing the same motif across shifting light and seasons.
A rare and collectible original lithograph poster from one of the most significant Impressionist exhibitions of the decade.
