Nitrolian is one of the most iconic and beloved posters by the great Leonetto Cappiello (1875–1942), created for the Nitrolian fast-drying paint company. The image is as witty as it is elegant: a woman in white glides down a freshly painted staircase without a single spot on her dress — proof of how quickly the paint dries.
Look closely at the paint can in her hand and you’ll find Cappiello’s signature touch — the entire scene mirrored in miniature on the label. And in a charming bit of self-portraiture, Cappiello painted himself as the decorator, brush in hand.

International Shipping
