The sky is everything. Philip Plisson’s lens tilts upward to let the drama of the clouds fill the frame — a churning, silver-grey mass that dwarfs the sea below. And yet the Altaïr holds its own: a classic gaff-rigged yacht under full sail, its canvas taut against the wind, cutting through the chop at La Nioulargue with the unhurried authority of a vessel that has nothing to prove.
La Nioulargue — now known as Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez — is the most celebrated classic yacht regatta in the world. Plisson, France’s foremost marine photographer, was there to document it. This tall, narrow format is perfectly chosen: the mast rises almost the full height of the image, the boat suspended between sea and sky in a composition that feels both monumental and intimate.

Our in-store pickup hours are 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM seven days a week.
International Shipping
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees, which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Incurable Collector is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
Order Tracking
