The Singing Butler (1992) is Jack Vettriano’s most celebrated painting and one of the best-selling art prints in British history. The original sold at Sotheby’s Edinburgh in 2004 for £744,500 — a record for a Scottish artist at the time. Its blend of glamour, nostalgia, and narrative tension has made it a perennial favourite with collectors worldwide.
Jack Vettriano (b. 1951) is a self-taught Scottish painter whose work draws on film noir, the golden age of Hollywood, and the bittersweet pleasures of the mid-20th century. His prints are among the most collected in the UK.
