A vintage print of one of Ansel Adams' most celebrated and iconic images — The Tetons and the Snake River, captured in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming in 1942. The sinuous Snake River leads the eye through a forested valley toward the majestic Teton Range, the peaks rising sharply against a luminous sky in Adams' signature high-contrast black and white.
Among the most recognized photographs in American history, this image was one of 116 selected for the Voyager Golden Record, launched into space in 1977 as a representation of life and culture on Earth. Mounted on board and ready to frame.
