An all-time poster classic, for fans of Jazz music, African-American history, and amazing vintage black-and-white photography! Legendary New York photographer Art Kane put out the call one August morning for all of the area's professional Jazz musicians to assemble on the steps of a traditional Harlem brownstone for a group shot. Not knowing exactly who would show up, Kane got the surprise of his life, and 57 of the best-of-the-best arrived on time to say "cheese"! As featured in the Steven Spielberg film The Terminal, and as chronicled in the 1995 documentary A Great Day in Harlem, here's the list of everyone appearing in the poster: Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Hilton Jefferson, Art Blakey, Chubby Jackson, Johnny Griffin, Dickie Wells, Buck Clayton, Taft Jordan, Zutty Singleton, Red Allen, Sonny Greer, Jimmy Jones, Tyree Glenn, Miff Mole, Jay C.
