The Bettmann Archive is one of the world's most significant photography collections, comprising over 18 million images dating back to the American Civil War. Founded in 1936 by German curator Otto Bettmann, who brought his personal collection of 15,000 images to the United States when he fled Nazi Germany, the archive grew to include landmark collections from Underwood & Underwood, United Press International, and many others. Now part of the Corbis collection, it remains an unparalleled record of modern history through photography.

How do I check the status of my order?
