A rare and historically significant vintage silkscreen lithograph created for the landmark Jack Bush / Retrospective exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario in 1976 — one of the most important retrospectives of a major Canadian artist in the 20th century.
Jack Bush was one of Canada's foremost abstract painters and a leading figure in the Painters Eleven group. Celebrated internationally, his bold use of colour and lyrical abstraction earned him recognition alongside the New York School's most prominent artists.
Printed on high-quality smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colours in a satin finish. In excellent like-new condition some minor light signs of age. Never framed or exposed to light. Stored in an archival sleeve for over 30 years.
