The Brighton Naked Bike Ride is a real annual event — a joyful, defiant celebration of body positivity, cycling advocacy, and freedom from shame. Hundreds of riders take to the streets of Brighton each year, and Sam Toft captures just a small, perfect slice of that procession: a few nude cyclists passing a row of colourful beach huts, one in a magnificent feathered headdress, another in a hat, a fourth rider just disappearing at the edge of the frame. A seagull watches from the top of the yellow hut. The title is hand-lettered along the bottom.
