Aux Caves de Marais by Jose Candia captures the layered charm of a French streetscape. A burgundy café storefront sits beside an imposing blue-green doorway, framed by ornate sculptural figures and carved architectural details. Jose Candia is a Canadian artist born in Argentina and based in Mississauga, Ontario. He studied painting and design in Tandil, Argentina. His detailed, colour-rich work explores European cityscapes, American icons and nostalgic urban scenes.
