A truly exceptional and rare collector's piece. This limited edition print of Ken Danby's Bobby Orr, Garden of Dreams is one of the few in the edition personally signed by both Ken Danby and Bobby Orr — making it significantly more valuable than the majority of the edition.
Danby passed away before signing the balance of the 4,444-print edition. The remaining unsigned prints were completed by his Estate, with initials by Mrs. Gillian Danby. Prints bearing Ken Danby's own signature alongside Bobby Orr's are now found only on the secondary market — making this a genuinely rare find in mint, never-framed condition.
Ken Danby is one of Canada's most celebrated realist painters, renowned for his iconic sports imagery. Bobby Orr is widely regarded as the greatest defenceman in hockey history.
